Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about using My Food Rating.
My Food Rating can read a restaurant's menu straight from its Uber Eats page and add the dishes for you. Here's how:
- Open the restaurant in the My Food Rating app and tap Fetch online menu.
- In a browser or the Uber Eats app, search for the same restaurant and open its store page. (The app's Search Uber Eats button opens this search for you.)
- Copy the store page link — use Share → Copy link, or copy the address from your browser.
- Paste the link into the app and confirm. We'll read the menu and add the items — usually within a minute.
The link must be an Uber Eats store page (it looks like https://www.ubereats.com/…/store/…), not a search-results or category page.
My Food Rating is a mobile food journal. Rate restaurants and the individual dishes you order, keep a journal of every visit, and attach photos so you remember exactly what was worth going back for.
Yes. You can rate dishes, write journal entries, and add photos even without a connection — everything is saved on your device and syncs automatically the next time you're online.
Not yet — connecting with friends to see each other's ratings is a feature we're working on. It's coming in a future update.
When you create or edit a journal entry, tap to add photos from your camera or library. They're attached to that entry, so you can look back on exactly what you ate.
