Answers to common questions about using My Food Rating.
Often, yes. Open the restaurant and tap Search for online menu. If we find its Uber Eats menu, the dishes are added automatically, usually in about 30 seconds. If we find a possible match, we'll show you its name and address. Tap Confirm if it's the right place, or Not this one if it isn't.
If we can't find one, add a photo of the menu instead. You won't see the button once a restaurant's online menu is already linked.
My Food Rating is a mobile food journal. Rate restaurants and the dishes you order, log each visit, and add photos so you remember what's worth going back for. You can even photograph a menu to bring its dishes into the app.
Mostly. Without a connection you can log visits, rate dishes, add notes and photos, and save restaurants. Everything is kept on your phone and uploads automatically when you're back online. A small cloud icon marks anything still waiting.
Signing in, searching for new places and looking up online menus need a connection.
Log a visit, add the dishes you had, then tap the camera icon next to a dish to take or choose its photo. You can also add one photo for the whole visit under Add overall details. Each dish and each visit can have one photo, and you can add them offline too.
Not yet — connecting with friends to see each other's ratings is a feature we're working on. It's coming in a future update.
